Hours

・ Open hours : 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (last entry at 4:00 p.m.)
・ Closed : Monday and Thursday (When a National Holiday falls on a Monday or a Thursday, the museum is open that day, but closed the nest day)

For special exhibitions in Spring or Autumn, or for when the museum is closed for reinstallation or other reasons, please consult "Exhibitions Schedule 2006".


Admission Fees

Individual Adults : 600 yen
College Students, or persons aged 70 or older : 500 yen
Junior or Senior High School Students : 300 yen
Elementary School Students or younger, or disabled persons : Free


Group

Adults : 500 yen
College Students, or persons aged 70 or older : 400 yen
Junior or Senior High School Students : 200 yen
Elementary School Students or younger, or disabled persons : Free

Note: the bracketed numbers indicate per-person charge for groups of 20 or more.


Transportation

・Subway : Tozai Line to Higashiyama Station, exit#1, walk east for 3 minutes
・City Bus : Bus 201, 202, 203, 206 to Higashiyama Sanjo or Higashiyama Niomon stop, walk east for 5 minutes
