Establishment of "ubiquitous"
On Thursday, January 24, 2002, Itabashi-ku welfare center held a lecture for handicapped people.
At that time, we were asked for information security by the letter for a hearing handicapped person by the counselor of the person in charge.
Taking advantage of this, the interpreters who were active individually in Tokyo and the neighborhood gathered and started.
As Speech-to-Text Simultaneous Interpreters Association by Pc ‘ubiquitous’,
and the headquarters was installed in Itabashi-ku,Tokyo.
At the General Meeting in 2010, the following officers were elected.

Despatch of speech-to-text simultaneous interpreter
We dispatch our members to :
primary schools, junior high school, high school,
colleges and graduate schools.school for the deaf,
conference of general enterprise,
various conventions for handicapped people,
negotiations with governmental offices, and ceremonial occasions.

It is held once a month (Saturday or Sunday) in halls in Itabashi-ku.
We study the interpreter technology in the teaching materials
by a lecture or a videotape on the spot.
Therefore inspection and guidance are performed by hearing handicapped people.
It becomes the valuable place for our improvement.
